Traditional Mexican candied fruit mix for bulk retail sale, made with uniform cuts of sweet potato, pumpkin, and a legal acitrón substitute, intended for home baking, artisanal pastry, and everyday culinary use. The pieces feature semi-square or prismatic shapes, a glossy finish, firm-tender texture, and balanced sweetness, with no surface sugar crystallization.

The acitrón used in this product is not derived from protected cactus species. Historically, acitrón was produced from biznaga cacti such as Echinocactus platyacanthus, which are currently protected in Mexico due to extinction risk. In compliance with environmental regulations, this product uses approved substitute fruits, commonly candied chilacayote, jicama or papaya, which reliably replicate the texture, appearance, and culinary performance of traditional acitrón without impacting endangered species.

Suggested uses: Home baking, traditional breads, decorations, candied fruit mixes, desserts, toppings, and direct consumption.

Format: Bulk retail sale per kilogram (KG).

Origin: Jalisco, Mexico.
