Dried Chilean grapes coated with sugar-free dark chocolate, combining the natural sweetness and soft texture of raisins with the intense, slightly bitter character of cocoa. The result is a confectionery product with an appealing contrast of textures and a deep, fruity and sweet flavor profile.
Dried grapes (raisins), maltitol, cocoa, cocoa butter, soy lecithin and vanilla.
Round to oval-shaped pieces uniformly coated in dark-brown chocolate. The coating has a smooth surface, firm texture at room temperature and a pleasant melt in the mouth. Inside, the dried grape retains a soft, flexible, fleshy and chewy texture. Flavor combines pronounced cocoa and dark-chocolate notes with the concentrated fruity sweetness and subtly caramelized character of raisins, complemented by delicate vanilla notes.
Ideal for direct consumption as a snack, chocolate and confectionery applications, dessert tables and premium nut and dried-fruit mixes. Excellent as an accompaniment to coffee and tea or as a topping for ice cream, yogurt, oatmeal, granola and bowls. It can also be incorporated into bakery and pastry applications, dessert decoration and gourmet boards.
Bulk (BLK) per kilogram. Dried grapes coated with sugar-free dark chocolate.
Store preferably at 15–20 °C (59–68 °F) in a cool, dry and clean environment protected from light, moisture and strong odors. Keep properly sealed and avoid sudden temperature changes or direct exposure to heat. Temperature fluctuations may promote fat bloom or sugar bloom on the chocolate surface, primarily affecting appearance.
Select pieces with a reasonably uniform chocolate coating, clean surface and characteristic dark-brown coloration. Chocolate should remain firm with a pleasant melt, while the raisin center should remain flexible, fleshy and chewy. Flavor should be clean and well balanced between cocoa and fruit, without rancid, fermented or foreign notes, excessive moisture, mold or visible contamination.
Origin
Dried grapes or raisins naturally concentrate the fruit's sugars, aromas and characteristic components during dehydration, developing their distinctive chewy texture and sweet, subtly caramelized notes. Their combination with dark chocolate creates an appealing contrast between the fruit's natural sweetness and the deep character of cocoa. In this formulation, maltitol is used as a polyol to provide sweetness to the coating in place of conventional sugar. The commercial “Sugar Free” declaration should be supported by the finished formulation and nutritional analysis and comply with applicable labeling requirements; excessive consumption of polyols may also produce gastrointestinal effects in sensitive individuals.
