Traditional candied acitrón, made in Mexico and offered in bulk. Unlike the original version made from the endangered bisnaga cactus, this product is produced responsibly and sustainably using jícama and/or papaya, protecting biodiversity while keeping tradition alive.
Its flavor and appearance are virtually identical to the original acitrón, making it indistinguishable despite being made from jícama or papaya. With its soft texture, balanced sweetness, and vibrant color, it is an essential ingredient in Mexican pastries such as Pan de Muerto, Rosca de Reyes, confectionery, and artisanal baking.
